Sustainable Design
Efficient structural solutions that reduce material use and embodied carbon, with reuse and retention considered from the outset.

Get in touchStructural design across the project lifecycle: concept development and feasibility, pre-planning advice, scheme and detailed design, and construction supervision through to completion. The portfolio spans deep basements, tall buildings, retained façades and long-span structures, in reinforced concrete and structural steel.
Wentworth's engineers come from contracting as well as consultancy backgrounds, and it shows in the drawings. Every scheme is designed with buildability, construction sequence and programme in mind: connections that can be made, pours that can be struck, basements that can be excavated and propped in the order the programme demands.
That thinking matters most where new design meets what already exists. On retained façades, structural alterations and strengthening, designs are developed around the real condition, capacity and history of the building, not an idealised model of it.
And design does not stop at issue. Production information, connection detailing and 3D coordination are developed to serve fabrication and site, and Wentworth's engineers stay involved through construction, reviewing, resolving queries and supervising the works through to completion.
