Wentworth is a construction-led engineering consultancy with over 25 years solving complex building and infrastructure challenges. We deliver structural and geotechnical design, temporary works engineering, construction method advice, testing, and verification across the UK and internationally.
We're the only UK consultancy that can design your solution, test it on site, and prove it works. This integration of design, testing, and verification through Wentworth Labs means we replace engineering assumptions with engineering certainty - demonstrating actual structural capacity rather than relying on code calculations alone.

From a small team in Wandsworth to 80 engineers across London, Dubai, Bristol, Leeds, Glasgow and Riyadh. When we show clients what we've worked on, the response is almost always the same: 'I didn't know that was you.' Our project list includes HS2, the Elizabeth Line, London Museum, and solving hundreds of complex construction-led engineering challenges. This experience shapes our approach: design with construction reality in mind, stay involved throughout construction and prove solutions through testing.

Our senior staff are Chartered Engineers with ICE and IStructE. Technicians hold EngTech qualifications. Apprentices and graduates work towards IEng and CEng qualifications through our ICE-approved training scheme.
Site experience is essential to how we train our team. All apprentices and graduates complete minimum one year on-site placements. Our engineers regularly visit sites to monitor construction, support problem-solving, and develop the practical knowledge that makes designs buildable.
