A mixed-use redevelopment of a dense city block beside St Bartholomew's Hospital in Smithfield, delivering around 236 apartments, offices and restaurants across new and retained buildings arranged around new public squares. Developed by Helical and designed by a Sheppard Robson-led team.
Wentworth provided construction engineering for the retained buildings and basement works at Barts Square. We helped Keltbray coordinate the different plots as demolition and rebuilding progressed, addressing the structural relationships across a closely constrained city site.
