Stoney Street

Stoney Street · project photograph

Borough Yards - a mixed-use retail, dining and cultural quarter woven through the Victorian railway viaducts beside Borough Market, incorporating restored arches and new buildings around Stoney Street and Clink Street. Developed by MARK and designed by SPPARC.

Wentworth provided geotechnical and construction engineering for the works at Borough Yards. We helped the team reconcile new development with the retained railway arches, bringing the requirements of excavation, structural retention and railway assurance into the construction approach.
