The £1bn reconstruction of London Bridge station under the Thameslink Programme, delivering a vast new street-level concourse, 15 through and terminating platforms, and the restoration of the Victorian brick undercroft - all built while the station remained operational. Completed in 2018.
Wentworth provided construction engineering for the reconstruction of London Bridge around its retained Victorian arches. Working across demolition and excavation, we helped reconcile the demands of rebuilding with the structural constraints of a station that remained in operation.
