The conversion of the former Liverpool Echo newspaper building into new offices, involving internal demolition of cores, column strengthening and re-purposing of the existing structure.
Wentworth provided structural and construction engineering during the Echo Building’s conversion. Working across contractor and specialist commissions, we helped the teams understand how the existing frame could be altered and strengthened, bringing the design of the interventions together with their construction sequence.
